JANUARY

January 24th Robbie Burns Night: An evening of poetry, singing, Scottish Highland Dancing and more.

January 24-25th Idaho Renaissance Faire Viking Celebration: celebrating Norse culture with themed activities like storytelling, local vendors, food, and community gatherings, aiming to bring people together in a historical, celebratory spirit, so come dressed for cold weather!

January 30th - February 8th McCall Winter Carnival: dazzling snow sculptures, vibrant local art, live music, a vendor court overlooking Payette Lake, and a full slate of festive events to brighten the snowiest season.

FEBRUARY

February 6-7th PRO Skijor Boise: fast horses, fearless skiers, and flying snow bringing the Frontier Tour energy to the Treasure Valley for the first time ever.

February 21st Destination: Beer in McCall: perfect combination for a winter getaway - a unique beer event in an Idaho mountain town.

MARCH

March 7th - 11th Big Sky Basketball Championships: all Big Sky members will compete in the conference tournament with the field featuring 10 teams for both the men and women in 2026.

March 13th - 15th Monster Jam: watch as 12,000lb trucks stand on two wheels and fly through the air.

March 25th - 29th Treefort Music Festival: featuring international touring bands and locals, too!

March 27th - 29th Boise Flower & Garden Show: the biggest flower & garden show in Idaho is the perfect kick off to Spring with everything you need to make your yard and garden beautiful!

APRIL

April 4th Boise Farmer’s Market Kickoff: from sustainable practices to economic boons and nutrient-dense goods, farmers markets are unique in the fresh, local food they bring.

April 4th Athletic Club Boise Home Match: first professional soccer team in Boise plays home.

April 18th Race to Robie Creek: “the toughest half marathon in the Northwest,” the Race to Robie Creek Half Marathon lives up to its reputation with a steadily climbing rise in elevation from the first mile all the way to the 8.5-mile point.

MAY

May 15th - 17th Gem State Comic Con: Idaho’s premier pop culture and comic convention — a true Idaho tradition and the state’s largest pop culture event.

May - September Idaho Shakespeare Festival: outdoor amphitheater hosting Shakespeare productions, concerts and picnics.

May 29th - 30th Boise Greek Food Festival: a two day festival celebrating Greek culture and cooking.

JUNE

June 8th Savor Idaho: the state’s premier wine event, will be held at the beautiful Idaho Botanical Garden.

June 27th Boise Music Festival: brings the best of live music to the city, offering a diverse range of performances, from country and rock to hip-hop and pop.

JULY

July 11th Boise Twilight Criterium: top pro women’s and men’s cycling teams in the US are joined by the best local and national amateur riders to turn the streets of Downtown Boise into a high-speed, high-stakes race course!

Late July San Inazio Festival: enjoy and celebrate the Basque culture of Boise. It is free and open to all ages, everyone is welcome.

AUGUST

Early August Boise Soul Food Festival: showcases African-American inspired soul food, music, dancing, culture, and Black-owned businesses.

August 21st - 30th Western Idaho Fair: a celebration of agriculture, ranching, and life in the state of Idaho.

SEPTEMBER

Early September Spirit of Boise Balloon Festival: an annual, free, family-friendly event at Ann Morrison Park.

September 11th - 13th Art in the Park: open-air festival, held on the weekend following Labor Day each September, provides visitors of all ages and interests with the opportunity to meet 240 artists and purchase their works.

September 18th - 20th Hyde Park Street Fair: most unique arts & music festival, Hyde Park Street Fair welcomes a variety of participants: non-profits, craft & commercial vendors, food & beverage vendors, and two stages packed with music and entertainment.

September 18th - 19th Eagle Jazz & Blues Fest: an annual event in Eagle, Idaho, featuring world-class musicians and an audience that leans into every note. 

September 26th St Luke’s Fit One Boise: FitOne is about living healthier, inspiring each other, and being part of a greater purpose. It’s more than a race. It’s a community.

Late September Open Streets Boise: temporarily transforms neighborhood streets into car-free community spaces where folks can bike, walk, and roll together.

OCTOBER

October Scarecrow Stroll: scarecrows of all shapes, sizes, and personalities pop up across the paths of the Garden. They are crafted by local artists, students, organizations, and imaginative community members.

October 3rd Idaho Cider Fest: showcase ciders from across the west along with local vendors, games, and good vibes! 

Late October Taste of Downtown Boise: each menu reflects the creativity and passion of local chefs and mixologists, celebrating the vibrant food scene of our city.

NOVEMBER

November 8th - 9th Bruneau Cowboy Christmas: weekend of fun, holiday cheer and the best holiday shopping in the west.

November 21st - 22nd Wintry Market: Idaho's premier curated Winter maker's market showcasing the best of art, craft and design.

November 22nd Cranksgiving: an alleycat race gathering food for families in need.

November 29th Boise Holiday Parade: Marching Bands, Small Businesses and Community Groups.

DECEMBER

Winter Garden aGlow: where every light shines with meaning, memory, and joy.

Caldwell’s Winter Wonderland: the City of Caldwell decorates Indian Creek in downtown Caldwell with over a million lights! Come join us in viewing the lights during opening weekend.
